Steve Simpson CCE, CISSP, CPTC, CSFA, PMP is a veteran of high technology with over 35 years of experience in information security, information technology, security compliance, and computer and software engineering. As an expert in information security, computer architecture and systems design, Steve has worked in numerous development, architecture, and product design groups for some of the top technology companies in the Pacific Northwest including Intel, Microsoft and Boeing.
Steve has been involved with data recovery and digital data investigations since 2009 and has received and provided formal training in Cybersecurity, Computer Forensics, Network Forensics, Mobile Device Security and Mobile Device Forensics. Steve is versed in the acquisition and analysis of digital evidence from computer media, including computer hard drives, laptops, tablet computers, smart phones, memory sticks, USB devices CDs, DVDs, and more.
Steve is Director of Digital Security and Forensics at S2 Forensics, a consulting company assisting law firms, corporations, government entities, and individuals seeking expertise on issues relating to electronic discovery, computer forensics, security compliance, information security, trade secret theft, and workplace investigations.
