Daniela Ionesi is a Registered Nurse with a passion for geriatric care. Her first job out of high school was at a local nursing home, which changed her career path into healthcare. She went on to work in family practice and home health but felt drawn back to long term care. In 1994, she opened her first AFH knowing that her life will be enriched by the people she would serve. Since then, she has been advocating on behalf of seniors and promoting the AFH industry. As a nurse-provider, she is greatly involved in the AFH community. She provides admission assessments, nurse delegation and continuing education. She serves on the board of WSRCC, whose core missions are education and regulatory advocacy for AFH providers. Her classes are highly interactive and engaging. She provides students with up to date information and issues facing AFH providers and the long term care industry.
