At age 10 I took my 1st dance class and was "hooked". After that I added cross country, dance and cheer in Jr High and High School. This led me to my professional cheer leading in 1985/86. I began teaching Aerobics and Personal Training in 1990 for World Gyms. The next progression for me was to begin Coordinating Aerobics Instructors and soon they added multiple gyms for me to Coordinate. With 40 Instructors under me (and in keeping with workout trends) we all went through an Intense boxing and Kickboxing of America Certification. This prompted me to start my own kickboxing Company in 4 gyms which I sold after 2 years to Bally Total Fitness. I have taught; Step, Aqua Aerobics, Kickboxing, weight Training and circuit classes, BOSU classes, Exercise Ball Classes, Boot Camp, TRX, Pilates and stretch classes. Among the gyms I have worked for years in are 24 Hr Fitness and LA Fitness. During that time I was Cheer Coach at Kentlake High School and a Dance Teacher with my own company. Millennium Fitness was a company I started in 2002, Owning and running my own Personal Training Studio, Teaching Classes and Coaching. As my 3 kids grew up, I decided a move out of the Rural Areas was a great idea personally and for career opportunities. I am currently Personal Training at The Port of Seattle Airport and Downtown Seattle locations and teaching PE classes for Highline College.
