I have been teaching at Highline College for 20+ years. It is a great place to work and learn. I teach classes in Geology; everything from Physical Geology to Environmental Geology to Geologic Hazards and beyond. Washington is a great state to explore and learn geology. There is so much going on here: earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, and more! My favorite part of teaching is taking students out into the field to experience the landscape for themselves. There is no better way to spend a Washington summer, but to be outdoors in the wilderness, just enjoying the surroundings.
