Phon Sivongxay brings over 15 years of banking experience and owned a Thai restaurant for 8 years. She now serves as Program Manager and Certified Business Advisor with Highline College’s Economic Development Center, supporting the StartZone and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) programs, where she has worked for the past 18 years.

Phon supports micro and small businesses throughout South King County, particularly entrepreneurs from underserved and marginalized communities. In her role, she works with businesses at all stages of development, from early concept and startup to acceleration and long-term sustainability. She provides one-on-one business advising, training and workshops, and capacity building support to help entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of starting, managing, and growing a business. Her work focuses on equipping business owners with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to build strong foundations and sustainable operations.
