Natalie Hughs is a certified Health Fitness Specialist and Group Exercise Instructor with a passion for well-being. After growing up in the Rainier foothills, Natalie went to pursue her Exercise Science degree at Eastern Washington University (EWU). She graduated with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from EWU, where she was then hired on to teach within the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation department for the two years following. Natalie returned to her hometown in Western Washington eight years ago to continue her passion in Health and Fitness by teaching at Highline College, and has been teaching full-time for over ten years. She has worked with AARP, Green River College, and Timber Ridge Retirement Community. Natalie has always had a drive to help others reach their fitness goals. She specializes in balance training, aquatics, and creating fitness plans for endurance athletes, those with metabolic conditions, and populations struggling with weight loss. Natalie’s favorite things to do include swimming, hiking, yoga, board/card games, and enjoying the great outdoors.
