As a reference librarian, my favorite part of the job is getting to work with students. I help answer student questions about doing research for classes and finding books to read. I also teach information literacy classes, along with other duties and campus activities.

I got my Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Before becoming a librarian, I taught English in Japan for 3 years. I also have a Masters of Arts degree in Japan Studies from the University of Washington and a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language.
