Kennedy Tipton (she/her) is the Program Manager for Career & Transfer Services at Highline College. She is a Missouri native and relocated to the greater Seattle area in July 2026. Prior to Highline College, she spent the past 10 years of her professional career working in college & career access in both non-profit organizations and higher education. Kennedy has an Associate of Arts degree from Moberly Area Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Missouri (Mizzou), and a Master of Education in Adult & Higher Education Leadership from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. As a first-generation, low-income college graduate and community college alum, Kennedy has a passion for serving students in the community college system and hopes to share that with Highline students.

In Kennedy’s free time, she enjoys fiber crafts, such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, etc. Additionally, she loves reading, traveling, video games, tide pooling, playing with her two cats, Roxy and Willow, and exploring Washington with her spouse, Ragan.
