My name is Kelly Aiken, my pronouns are he/him. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Seattle, graduating from Hazen High School in Renton. I have earned a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University in English Literature, a master's degree from the University of California - Santa Cruz in Language Arts Education, and a master's degree from New York University in Media, Culture, and Communication. Most recently, I worked as the Graduation Success Coach at Newport High School in Bellevue, making sure every senior graduated. In my free time I enjoy video games, pop culture, NBA basketball, and occasionally playing with my punk rock band. I am psyched to be part of the Highline community!

If you are a student who needs help learning how to use a specific piece of technology/ website/application, I am here to help! I am available to help with commonly required sites like Watermark, ctcLink, Canvas, and MyHighline, but also apps like Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Zoom - or whatever else you might need help learning to use. You can contact me with questions, to set up an appointment, or find me during drop-in hours in the library's Information Commons (computer lab on the 2nd floor) every day as well as once a week on Zoom.
