Izzy was born and raised just outside of Detroit, MI. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with minors in Women & Gender Studies and Dance from Michigan State University, and her Master of Arts in Student Development Administration from Seattle University. Izzy has a wide variety of professional experience ranging from campus housing, summer camp administration, student wellness, and student conduct. Izzy has been at Highline since 2020, previously serving as the Associate Director of Community Standards and Student Conduct. She is a leader who believes in empowering students to author their own journey in higher education by honoring their intersecting identities, and providing a variety of opportunities for success.

Outside of work, Izzy dances professionally with SLOWBURN Dance Company and loves being outside. In the winter you can find her snowboarding or snowshoeing, while in the summer she enjoys paddle boarding and hiking. Izzy relieves stress by baking and practicing yoga.

Fun Fact: Izzy has completed two half-marathons and a triathlon
