I am proud to be part of the Highline College faculty and community where I am a member of the mathematics department since 1994. I teach all levels of courses but in the past 10 years have focused mainly on statistics, as many more students require statistics over courses focused on standard algebra. I enjoy teaching and love to use technology in teaching mathematics particularly when the technology is free and easy to use. I am committed to serving students by meeting them where they are in their current circumstances, being clear in expectations for learning and fair in assessment, and creating a learning environment where all students have a voice and are learning mathematical concepts that are relevant to their personal, career, and education goals. In addition to teaching, I am on many campus committees and also conduct research through the Curriculum Research Group at Highline College.
