I'm a neuroscience researcher and teacher. I have taught Human Anatomy and Physiology at Highline College, the University of Southern Indiana, the the Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts. My lab experience is in drug development, olfaction, stress, and biological therapeutics at Seattle Children's Hospital, Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center and the University of Tsukuba in Japan. Anatomy can be a difficult class, so my goal is always to help students succeed and improve. I am always happy to stay after class and am usually there early to answer questions and help with the material in any way I can. There are many different ways of explaining and looking at science, and I want to help everyone find the way of looking at it that works for their learning style and their plans for the future.
