Greetings, My name is Professor Aaron Modica. I am a Husband, son, uncle to wonderful nieces, and a snowboarder who taught for 7 years at Mt Rose Resort in Lake Tahoe. I also like farming during the summers with my family down south. I'm from Oakland, CA, and graduated from the University of Washington and the University of Nevada, Reno with advanced degrees in Sociology and Education. I've lived in the Seattle Area since 2009. In addition to my teaching duties, I enjoy mentoring students, working with the Umoja Scholars student learning community on campus, and serving students in other aspects of campus. In addition to my professional roles, I have a magnificent wife who is also an educator and a lover of history
