I have been teaching at Highline for 17 years! Before (and during) that time I practiced medicine (gynecology as an ND) for 20 years. I currently teach Nutrition just about every term. Previously I taught Anatomy/Physiology, Biology, and Food as Medicine.

Most of my time outside of work is spent with my partner and my daughter who has a rare disability called Rett Syndrome. In my spare time I volunteer at two different non-profits, hike, crochet, read, cook, spend time with friends and family, and I'm a mediocre rock-n-roll drummer.
