I was born and raised in Federal Way but spent most of my childhood living overseas in Asia in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and South Korea. I graduated from the University of British Columbia, Canada with a BA in Sociology and I have a Master of Education degree from Western Washington University, specializing in adult and higher education. I have been working in education for the last 10 years in both K-12 and higher education, including teaching English in South Korea. I have experience working with Running Start students and International students at Highline College.

When not working, I enjoy cooking, gardening, traveling, reading fantasy novels, playing video games, and scuba diving – and I am usually planning my next scuba trip! I am a lifelong learner, an advocate for higher education, and am excited to support the next generation of Running Start students in this new role.
