Darin Smith is currently the Health, PE, and Education (HPEE) Division Chair at Highline College. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Kinesiology (Exercise Psychophysiology) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Darin is a professional member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Darin is also a 5th degree black belt instructor in tae kwon do with over 31 years experience. His hobbies include martial arts, bicycling, weight training, mud runs, and music.
