Current Faculty, Dept. Coordinator and Program Director for Healthcare Profession Dept. I am a graduate of the Medical Assisting Program in 2014. After graduating, I worked for a clinic that had multiple specialties such a family and internal medicine, integrative medicine, and acupuncture. I was also trained in triage and in-basket (messaging). I later transferred to a different clinic to assist them in training in both front and back office in a new clinic facility; Former VFC (Vaccine for Children) Coordinator. I also worked in Behavioral Health for about 2 years and at the start of the Covid Pandemic was working in prompt care. I started working as a full time instructor at Highline College in June 2020,

I am the instructor for many of our HEAL courses in-person and online, as well as an Faculty Advisor and the Practicum (Externship) Coordinator for the Medical Assisting Program.
