Hi all~ my name is Alex Martinez and I am an Academic Pathway Advisor! I'm a recent graduate from the University of Washington - Bothell where I have a BA in Educational Studies. My concentration was in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Social Justice. As an educator and new professional, I am passionate about empowering students through their educational journey! Dismantling barriers, making education accessible, and navigating higher education are what drive me to working in a college setting. It is so rewarding to witness students flourish in their academic, career, or professional goals! I hope to foster an environment for students to be themselves and grow towards their aspirations~

Outside of work, you will either find me exploring the city, at a coffee shop, in a bookstore...or maybe in all! I enjoy going on adventures with my friends and discovering different things to do. If you enjoy reading fiction, adventure, fantasy, or rom-coms I would love to chat!
