Aaron Ottinger teaches writing at Highline College (Des Moines, WA) and has taught literature and writing at University of Washington (Seattle, WA), where he also completed his PhD. He teaches Composition 101 with themes that focus on poetry, mathematics, algorithms, digital media, and the environment. His publications include essays in Essays in Romanticism, Romanticism and Speculative Realism (Bloomsbury), Romantic Pedagogy Commons (forthcoming), The Palgrave Handbook of Literature and Mathematics (forthcoming), among others. Currently, he curates a social media account dedicated to the history of literature and mathematics from around the globe (@mad_mathesis), and he is at work on a book entitled "Astral Romanticism."
